  1. Anime is usually a good inspiration to look at for newer games, especially for the RPG and MMORPG genres. I think the biggest inspiration from anime is mainly the art style, since there’s wide-appeal for that style. For example, Genshin Impact is probably the most popular ARPG of 2021, and that game has an “anime” art style.
