Every year, it seems like there are more games to be excited about. 2017 brought us some truly awesome games – Overwatch, Player Unknown Battlegrounds, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Super Mario Odyssey are definitely hard acts to follow, but the last few months of 2018 still have some great things in store.

Both PC and console game developers still have a few tricks up their sleeves this year, and there are a ton of great games to be on the lookout for this autumn. There are so many it’s hard for us to keep up, and you might need to start playing money making online games to be able to afford them all – in fact, you might want to get in on this free signup bonus to start saving up. In this article, we’ll go over some of our top picks for games to keep on your radar this fall.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Our first big game to watch out for is the much-anticipated next installment in the Assassin’s Creed saga. Available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as for PCs, this newest member of the family takes place centuries before Origins. RPG lovers will be pleased with the same storytelling and character customization we’ve come to know and love from Assassin’s Creed, with updates to graphics and gameplay.

Release Date: October 5.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

The next big release is the fourth installment in the Call of Duty series. Unlike its predecessors, CoD: Black Ops 4 is phasing out the single-player campaign. While this is definitely a bold move and may be a downside for some, players can look forward to a new and improved multiplayer system and cooperative play. For undead enthusiasts, you can also look forward to expansions on Zombie mode. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Fallout 76

Another exciting addition to an existing line of games is Fallout 76. The five games in the main Fallout storyline have so far stuck to a pretty traditional single-player experience. 76 is taking a much different approach that integrates a more cooperative, online model. Taking place shortly after nuclear disaster, players will need to work together with other, real players to re-build the world.

This release is a serious departure from other games in the series, but it’s a promising one. Players will have a much different experience in a much more rural, exposed setting than the other games. Fallout 76 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Release Date: November 14.

Forza Horizon 4

If you love open-world games, you’re going to love Forza Horizon 4. This racing game offers an incredible amount of detail, endless exploration, and mechanics that (literally) change with the seasons. This newest addition includes the addition of massive numbers of cars, obstacles, and design details. You can play in this massive open-world playground on PC or Xbox One only.

  1. Kind of bizarre to mention games in this article saying that they’ll be available on the PC, Xbox, or PlayStation, while having a picture of a Switch as the main image in this article. Doesn’t seem like the Switch gets enough treatment.

Anyway, of those four games, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is actually available on the Switch. In fact, it was released worldwide (for Microsoft Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 5, 2018), so not sure why the Switch platform wasn’t even mentioned.
