Usually gaming peripherals that have a largely functional purpose are the best choice, things like headsets, mouse, etc. Some things that are less functional and more aesthetic, like LED strips, acoustic wall panels (could be somewhat arguable, if the gamer does streaming), etc. would be more subjective.
