  1. New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is alright, I guess. I feel like it’s kind of repetitive considering Nintendo’s been rehashing the NSMB brand for years now, and the original came out in like 2004 for the DS.

    But Mario Kart 8 is pretty fun. Ever since the Wii U version came out, I thought the vehicles with the hovering wheels were quite interesting concepts and the game felt like such an improvement from every other Mario Kart game. And I think the Switch version has extra features like new karts, characters, and a battle mode which the plain Wii U version doesn’t have. Considering it’s the Switch’s #1 best-seller right now, you can’t go wrong with Mario Kart 8.
