Celestial Impact is a team based multiplayer first person shooter (FPS) taking place on various asteroids floating in space. But Celestial Impact is not your average team based multiplayer FPS. What makes this FPS really special is that the landscape is fully deformable in all directions, each impact on the landscape affecting it differently depending on the weapon used. But it is not limited to destruction; the players also have the ability to add terrain to the landscape in the middle of combat using a special tool called Dirtgun. With the Dirtgun, players can add or remove terrain during combat as they see fit, simply by aiming and firing the dirtgun. Depending on the chosen action, this will either add or remove a chunk of dirt from the landscape. So as the teams are battling, the landscape receives vast changes opening up for various tactical approaches each team can use.

Comment: Celestial Impact is turn based FPS game with fully destructable landscape. Game features 4 game mods (Capture The Crystal, Deathmatch, Crystal Rounds and Forge), 7 different maps. Thing i like the most about this game is the Dirt-gun which can be used to dig (tunnels as the escape route) or to build (defensive walls). I rate this game 8/10

Comment: Really unusuall shooter. You are playing on various planets and your goal is to kill other enemies (like in all shooter games). Graphics aren’t really good, but it’s a cool game that you might be interested in. Go and check it out, it’s pretty fun. 🙂 8/10

One of the worst FPS that i saw, sound is annoying and graphic is bad. I played it for i while long while ago and thats it. Only thing that is different from other FPS games is, ability to change world around you by building or removing parts of it.
It’s kind of a mix of good and bad. The game is sort of like a “sandbox” FPS since you can construct and destroy terrain which is pretty cool for a game this old which predates Minecraft, but it’s more defined as a team-based multiplayer FPS since it’s kind of limited in scope on what you can do on the “sandbox” side of the game (since it’s mostly just terrain). Doesn’t have the same level of action as other FPS games though, and the world itself seems pretty small. I think it’s a pretty cool concept, but probably the major complaint is that the game’s graphics look dauntingly bad. Overall, I’d rate this game a 2.9/5; it had a unique concept, but didn’t really expand that concept enough.

Turn based FPS game with bad graphics.You can destroy landscape but other than that its same as any other shooter.
Unique shooter game,really specific,it isn’t like other shooter games,i like gameplay a lot,graphic is okay,i would play it 🙂
