This is the fifteenth and final match of GameOgre.com’s Online Shooter Showdown 2012. This is a tournament to determine the best Online Shooter out of 16 games. You can also view this Shooter Showdown Video for more information about this important tournament.
After a very close and somewhat controversial match vs. Blacklight, Team Fortress 2 enters the final match for surprisingly the first time. This is also the first final match for APB Reloaded. Which will win its first title?

This is another example of old vs. new. The last match was simply too close to call between Team Fortress 2 and Blacklight as blog and forum voting differed considerably. Review scores were very close so that did not help identify a winner. In the end, the match was finally decided by a special chat vote. Getting back to this match, neither game could be considered as a favorite. Instead, these were the games that defeated all the favorites. Of the two, Team Fortress has the advantage of visibility and popularity while APB Reloaded is a much better than expected rebirth of a failed pay game. The winner will be decided in two weeks.
