Heroes & Generals introduces mobile AA guns in the ’Adams – Ground Fire’ update

January 22nd, 2016 Copenhagen

Reto-Moto has released a new update for the successful WWII MMOFPS Heroes & Generals codenamed ‘Adams – Ground Fire’, which introduces mobile AA guns to more than 6 million registered players.

The mobile AA guns are a completely new type of vehicle introduced to the game. Available for unlock by the Infantry Soldier, all 3 factions have access to their own mobile AA guns, each with their own characteristics and traits.

The new additions to the arsenal are the German Sd.Kfz 7/1 with the infamous 20mm Flakvierling, the US M16 MGMC featuring 4 all-purpose .50 cal machine guns, and the Soviet GAZ-AAA M-4 Maxim armed with the reliable 7.62mm Maxim heavy machine gun in a quad configuration. These 3 new vehicles possess considerable firepower, and bring new tactical options and challenges to the players on the battlefields.

Named after the war hero and Medal of Honor recipient Lucian Adams, this update also incorporates several refinements to the gunplay, which includes improved hip fire mechanics. Furthermore, cone fire has been updated for a tighter and more intuitive gunplay experience.

Also of note is the arrival of a new skin for the US M3A1 Half-track, the removal of backpacks from all characters to avoid clipping, and tweaks to the Town map to optimize the flow of gameplay.
