Comment: Moshi Monsters is definately targeted for kids 6-8, not all ages as it claims. First off, there isn’t really a true customization of your monster because you choose one type, and two colors. Once you get past this though, it is quite fun. Each monster has it’s own personality that is quite apparent from the very start on the monster selection screen. Seen everywhere on the site are cute puns (like Gross-ery Store and ukea). The way you gain Rox is by completing little mini puzzles. You can only play a puzzle once to gain Rox, and the max amount of reward I’ve seen is 5, so it takes a while to collect. The best way to get rox is to play the games at Ooh La Lane. These are actually quite fun, compared to the oh-so-easy puzzles, and have a higher payout.
In all, Moshi Monsters is quite a cute game that can actually entertain a 12 and 14 year old for a while, and probably younger ones for a lot longer. i think it’s worth a try.

  2. A game I used to play but realised It was too childish for me πŸ˜€ anyway as the others say it’s an enjoyable virtual game, where the focus is taking care of your pets, earning points to buy them stuff and playing games I recommend this for ages 9-12 or.. wait… 7-10? anyway it’s a good game for kids that’s below 12.

  5. Moshi Monsters is an interesting virtual world for young kids, and I have actually seen this game before, though I have never played it personally. I have seen one of my friends play this game, even on the Nintendo DS version, and by the looks of it, the game looks very child-friendly, fun, and interactive. I like the simplicity of the graphics such as how friendly the monsters look and the colored stroke around the character which adds some nice detail. The various mini-games are quite interesting and fun to play as well. Overall, this game is perfect for a child and I would rate this game a 3.5/5.
